Angela Nichols

Angela Nichols is a long time freelance technical writer and editor who grew fascinated with the possibilities of AI-assisted, created, and derived art, who recently fell headlong into its ever-expanding world. She’s currently the Head of Labs for Botnik Studios, a group of artists who have been using predictive text and neural networks to try and create unique forms of comedy. She initially caught the group’s attention by deconstructing sitcom character archetypes to allow each to be manipulated as a distinct voice, to write a pilot script based on all other sitcom pilot scripts, and thus make something unique out of the formulaic.
