The An[0]ther{AI} Summit at The New Museum is looking for New York-based students and scholars to participate! This is a paid opportunity to participate in and contribute to the discussion at the forefront of art and artificial intelligence as part of an exclusive Student Committee alongside the summit’s elite guests.

The summit, taking place 4/25-4/27, is an intimate gathering that will bring together artists, scholars, curators, technologists, community leaders and institutional influencers and decision makers to address gaps, challenges, and opportunities at the intersection of critical inquiry, art making and artificial intelligence. Founded by Amir Baradaran, with the generous support of The Knight Foundation and Columbia University, and in partnership with the New Museum and NEW INC, the program will mine diverse perspectives in the ongoing discourse between citizen-users and the technology-making industry.

Members of the Student/Scholar Committee will be asked to:

  • Attend both full days of presentations

    • 4/26 and 4/27 8:30AM-6:30PM both days

  • Maintain documentation of Summit presentations and discussions

    • Must have experience in qualitative research methods and documentation

  • Manage Google Docs of notes for your group of participants

Scholarly guests will receive a stipend, and will be granted access to all the other events in the Summit, including the opening kickoff cocktail event on Wednesday 4/25.
