Pascal Hufschmid
Pascal Hufschmid is Head of External Affairs at the Musée de l’Elysée in Lausanne, Switzerland. He believes a museum is a point of view that can be expressed far beyond its walls via a multiplicity of projects with wide-ranging public and private partners. He develops an outside-in strategy and raises his institution’s national and international profile through travelling exhibitions, institutional partnerships and fundraising. In 2014, he launched a photography prize, the Prix Elysée. Prior to his current position, he worked at Galerie Jan Krugier & Cie and the United Nations in Geneva. He holds an MA in art history and is a regular speaker on the subject of innovation in the museum field.
